I think the history books of Europe chose only to remember the discoveries of their own agents stemming from England, France Spain, etc. Eric was not really going to anything but make a living while in North America as well as make a life. This is a really special documentary. Very chill narrative and ambience. It has all kinds of nostalgia. From the ‘90s to the transatlantic days of yesteryear. Seeing so much of the QE2 as she was is also so special. I got the privilege of boarding the ship as a VIP on her last visit to Los Angeles in March 2008. It was a dream come true.
